2nd place at the Annual Boatyard Catch and Release Rockfish Fishing Tournament!

Congratulations to Philip Plack and Dr. Rosemary, his 1977 Morton & Hersloff, for placing 2nd in the Annual Boatyard Catch and Release Rockfish Fishing Tournament that took place last weekend! Vic Gue, an angler on the boat, brought home the silver with a 43 1/2" Rockfish.
We acquired this unique little listing in February from CRAB- Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating- and sold her to Plack a month later. With her interesting local history, We knew this sweet boat was destined for stardom.
Upon retiring, Rogers C.B. Morton, a one time Maryland Congressman, and his neighbor, Peter O. Hersloff, turned Morton's barn along the Wye River into a boat building shop. They built 13 power yachts before a fire destroyed the shop and ended production.
We are happy to see her making a name for herself in Maryland waters!
