With her low-slung sheer and counter transom, the sensation of pure sailing couldn't be stronger. JOY is a no-frills Bermuda 40 that has been upgraded where it counts. Engine, standing rigging, seacocks, wiring, plumbing and a host of other items have all be upgraded making her a classic that is as reliable as a new boat. Joy has the MKII short rig long boom yawl layout with the mast being stepped ahead of the main bulkhead which makes for a larger salon. She also boasts low-maintenance fiberglass winch pads.
