Have you ever wondered what it would be like to own a boat built for a rocket scientist? PEGASUS is just that. PEGASUS is a superb example of a 3 cabin, 3 head Jeanneau 54 that has been updated with ingenious modifications such as a custom-built and designed remote control system for the primary and secondary winches that allows the operator to both trim and ease the sheets with the touch of a button via a remote keychain. The boat has two diesel heating systems that not only heat the boat below but also heat the cockpit when the full enclosure is installed. Designed to be solo sailed PEGASUS is truly one of a kind. This Jeanneau 54 is full of unique features such as an electrically actuated TV that stows in the saloon partition. This feature is not found aboard her sisters. If you are looking for a superbly kept, low-hour and highly upgraded 3-cabin yacht your search has ended. Highly Recommended.

Saloon Overview:
PEGASUS's layout features some truly amazing details. Upon entering the companionway, one immediately notices that the traditional drop boards have been replaced by a sliding hatch that neatly stows under the cockpit sole via a sliding track system. Gone are the days of trying to find a safe place to store the heavy Acrillic weatherboards. Five short steps lead you into the bright and airy salon which has a plethora of windows and opening hatches. PEGASUS's layout features a large settee to port with electrically actuated table pedestals that lower to convert the settee into a massive berth at the touch of a button. The inboard backrest of the settee houses the flat-screen TV and doubles as a secure place to lean against while cooking underway. As you would expect on a boat as well equipped as PEGASUS, the TV deploys at the touch of a button and is wired into the Raymarine navigation system and acts as a large screen repeater for the electronics!
Galley Overview:
Pegasus's Galley will make any chef feel right at home. There is an enormous amount of counter space and storage. A door/drawer-style stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and hood vent over the range. She boats all the details that make cooking aboard fun and easy - even when underway. Pegasus has seen very light use and her galley shows like new.
Owners Cabin:
The owner's cabin features a centerline berth with storage underneath. Portlights in the hull and overhead hatches create an inviting space. The cabin has an ensuite head with a stall shower. Custom carpeting gives the boat a homelike feel. Lockers and storage drawers abound.
VIP and Double Berth Cabin:
The VIP/Guest cabin aboard PEGASUS is located to port and shares many of the features found in the owner's cabin including its own ensuite head and stall shower. The double berth cabin features two single berths which are perfect for grandchildren or crew and has its own head with a shower. All cabins are climate controlled.

Deck Details:
The sail locker aboard PEGASUS is large enough to be a captain's quarters. It is configured as a sail and storage locker and provides a convenient place for storing cushions, fenders and other bulky items. The canvas found aboard is in superb condition and well thought out. There are covers for the hatches and dodger Eisenglass which keeps the lenses looking new. The Bimini covers the entire cockpit and the bimini frames span the cockpit from toerail to toerail making movement in and out of the cockpit comfortable and easy. The centerline dodger window panel is mounted on boltrope tracks and slides open like a garage door by simply removing a couple of snaps. Brilliant! The boat has a full enclosure with screens. The enclosure is heated via the Webasto heating system which makes sailing on the fringes of the season or a late fall trip to the Caribbean a pleasure. PEGASUS's transom features an electrically actuated opening tailgate that Jeanneau calls "the terrace." With the touch of a button, the terrace opens to create a lounge area for swimming and sunbathing. Custom lounge cushions and a swim ladder complete the space.

PEGASUS features a forward-facing navigation station that many prefer for reducing sea sickness while underway. The navigation desk is large enough for laying out a paper chart. The ship's electrical breakers, Fusion radio, generator start panel, VHF and climate controls are installed here.
