SAGA 43 - BRIGADOON III

Brigadoon III the (SAGA 43 for sale) is a modern classic in every sense and BRIGADOON III is no exception.  She was designed for fast passage making and is easily handled by a couple.  Her narrow hull and moderate draft make her an upwind sailing machine.  Her cockpit ergonomics are first class and her lack of exterior teak make her easy to maintain.  The Saga 43 is not just an able sailor but she is also a comfortable liveaboard.  Rich cherry joinery with plenty of opening ports gives the interior a spacious feel.  A separate shower stall in the aft head and the Pullman berth are just two details that exemplify the designers forward thinking. This (Saga 43) is located in Annapolis and is shown by appointment only.

Vessel OverviewThe SAGA 43 is a modern classic in every sense and BRIGADOON III is no exception. BRIGADOON is located in Annapolis and is shown by appointment only.
AccommodationsThe first of 2 large heads with showers is located forward. There is a storage locker forward with chain locker access.  The master cabin is located just aft of the forward head.  It features a Pullman berth with exceptional storage opposite and underneath. This stateroom has two opening ports, one overhead hatch, and an electric fan.

The main salon is bright and airy with several opening ports and hatches. There are four dorade boxes with vents on deck. The salon features opposing settees with lee cloths that make excellent sea berths for even the tallest of sailors.  The nav desk is located to starboard and is aft facing which makes communication between the helmsperson and navigator efficient and accurate.  12v fans are located throughout the vessel.

The L shaped galley is located to starboard and features a Force 10 stove and a 12v Seafrost refrigerator and freezer. A microwave is located above the refrigerator.

The head with separate shower stall is located opposite of the galley.  The head space is quite large and utilizes an ingenious polycarbonate shower door.  An additional shower is provided in the forward head.

The aft cabin is located to port and extends under the cockpit sole. The 6'7" x 6'2" berth may be used fore and aft or athwartship. There is a lee cloth that allows the area under the cockpit to be separated from the widest part of the berth.  The battery bank and additional storage is located under the berth.
